Certificate of Origin (CoO)<\/h1>\n

Certificate of Origin (CoO) is an instrument to establish evidence on origin of goods imported into any country. There are two categories of CoO viz preferential and non-preferential.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hindustan Chamber of Commerce is officially authorized by Ministry of Commerce & Industry in 2002 to attest certificate of origin (non-preferential) to both members and non members.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exporters can avail attestation of Certificate of Origin and other documents provided necessary documents are in order which is done without any delay.<\/strong><\/p>\n

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE :<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Exporters are required to submit a one time Indemnity Bond on Rs. 200\/- Non Judicial Stamp Paper issued by the Government of India which is a permanent registration. Specimen of the same is given on the website. After submitting this Indemnity Bond, Chamber will register the company and issue Permanent HCC Code No. which has to be mentioned on each application of certification and should be quoted for future transactions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After registration procedure, exporters collect stationery of Certificate of Origin and submit it along with one copy of Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Bill of Lading \/ Airway Bill etc. for Chamber\u2019s record as explained to them. If they require attestation \/ Certification on Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Bill of Lading \/ Airway Bill etc., additional copies of the same has to be produced.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to inform our members that the Chamber has started issuing the
Certificate of Origin online<\/strong> through the DGFT Portal<\/strong>. Approval has been received for issuing certificates via this platform.<\/p>\n
